With three bedrooms, lounge, swimming pool, fitted kitchen, this modern duplex apartment is just five minutes’ walk from the heart of the city. Natural light, a large terrace, and superb views over Funchal and the mountains are the hallmarks of this apartment. Located on the sixth floor of a quiet, sunny building, it invites sunbathing and dips in the pool set in the building’s garden. On the first floor are three bedrooms: two spacious rooms and, at the end of the hall, a suite with dressing room and safe. This floor also features the dining and living room with balcony and splendid views, plus a spacious kitchen with modern appliances. Large windows and the balcony offer stunning views over the island. Upstairs, the second floor boasts a breathtaking chillout space with lounge chairs and a table for gatherings, leading to a large terrace overlooking the city, Funchal bay, and the island’s mountain range. From here, you can see the Pico Fortress, Funchal Cathedral, the Convent of Santa Clara, Funchal Marina, and, on sunny days, the Desert Islands. NEIGHBORHOOD OVERVIEW The apartment is on Rua do Jasmineiro, leading to Avenida do Infante—one of the city’s main arteries. Nearby are traditional Portuguese terraces, pastries, and gourmet restaurants. Across the street is the Madeira Casino, and Santa Catarina Park is just a short walk away. The beach area is also within easy reach, and the sea temperature is around 22°C, making swimming possible almost year-round. GETTING AROUND An aerobus stop is just 3 minutes’ walk from the apartment, or we can arrange a taxi transfer with our trusted local partners—cheaper than airport taxis! GUEST ACCESS Guests have access to all areas of the property. GUEST INTERACTION We are always available for any concerns. Contact us via local numbers or email. OTHER OBSERVATIONS - All guests must present valid ID (passport or identity card) as required by Portuguese law. - Check-in must be scheduled in advance (at least 48 hours prior); otherwise, it is subject to team availability. - Linens and towels are provided. Cot, high chair, and baby’s tub available on request. First aid kit, fire extinguishers, and anti-fire blanket are provided. ATTENTION A municipal tourist fee of €2.00 per person/night (aged 13 or over), up to 7 nights (€14 max per person/stay), will be charged. You will receive a link to pay this tax upon arrival. HOUSE RULES To ensure a pleasant stay for everyone, we ask that you observe a few simple rules. • Smoking is not permitted inside the property. • Parties or events are not permitted. • Please be considerate of the neighbours and keep noise levels down, especially at night. The property may be equipped with a smart sensor (Minut) that monitors noise, smoke, and temperature levels for safety reasons only. This system does not record conversations or collect personal data. If abnormal levels are detected, you may receive a message from our team. In accordance with Portuguese law, all guests must present valid identification for registration. A municipal tourist tax may be charged (€2 per person per night, up to a maximum of 7 nights). Check-in: from 4 pm. Early check-in is subject to availability and a fee. Check-out: by 12:00. Late check-out is subject to availability and a fee.
