This studio is located on floor 3 of a former cultural space, now fully renovated and decorated with details inspired by the Great Gatsby, reflecting the film’s sense of excess. The decoration combines cultural elements with practicality, modernity, and comfort—ideal for travelers. The property accommodates up to 2 people and features an open-plan area with a double bed, a well-equipped kitchen, dining area, and a bathroom with shower. The building has a common entrance for all properties, is equipped with lift access, and is located on Rua Ivens, behind the Funchal Municipal Garden, one of the city’s main arteries. Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. There is no private parking. AREA The building is situated on Rua Ivens, behind the Municipal Garden of Funchal and just a 1-minute walk from the Municipal Theatre Baltazar Dias. You can easily explore the main attractions of Madeira’s capital on foot, including restaurants, shopping centres, bars, museums, the Cathedral of Funchal, Funchal Marina, and Santa Catarina Park. The city centre offers plenty of information about cultural, adventure, and nature-related activities for your stay. GETTING AROUND The best way to reach the property is by transfer—ask us to book one with our local partners, which is cheaper than airport taxis. If you rent a car, any navigation app will easily find the address. ACCESS TO PROPERTY You have access to all areas of the property. INTERACTION We are always available to help or answer questions and do our best to respond to all requests. We also provide an app for guests with important property information and useful tips for your stay. OTHER OBSERVATIONS - According to Portuguese law, all guests must present a valid ID (passport or identity card). - Check-in must be scheduled in advance. If not scheduled within 48 hours before arrival, check-in will be subject to our team’s availability. - Bed linen and towels are provided. A baby cot, high chair, and baby bath are available on request. The property is equipped with a first aid kit, extinguishers, and a fire blanket. ATTENTION A Tourist Fee will be charged to all persons staying overnight in Funchal: €2.00 per person/night (aged 13+), up to 7 nights (€14.00 max per person/stay). Upon arrival, you will receive a link to pay this municipal tax. HOUSE RULES To ensure a pleasant stay for everyone, we ask that you observe a few simple rules. • Smoking is not permitted inside the property. • Parties or events are not permitted. • We ask that you be considerate of the neighbours and keep noise levels down, especially at night. The property may be equipped with a smart sensor (Minut) that monitors noise, smoke and temperature levels, solely for safety reasons. This system does not record conversations or collect personal data. Should abnormal levels be detected, you may receive a message from our team asking you to check the situation. In accordance with Portuguese law, all guests must present valid identification for registration. A municipal tourist tax may be charged (€2 per person per night, up to a maximum of 7 nights). Check-in: from 4 pm. Early check-in is subject to availability and payment of a fee. Check-out: by 12:00. Late check-out is subject to availability and payment of a fee.
